My Creative Space
I've been working on my dress making things this week. I made a pressing ham last Saturday to iron my darts and princess seams. And I also got this new whiz bang iron on Sunday on the way home from the fair. It's great! There's not even any wadding melted on it yet. And can I say, "Quilt basting spray, where have you been all my life?!". I got some on the cheap at the fair. And it's the best! I always screw up the basting, and have puckers and things. Now, can anyone teach me how to quilt well please?
More creative spaces over with Kirsty!

P.S. I used one of my fancy tags for the first time too!

Love your ham! May I ask where you got your labels from? I have been doing some research. Thanks Laurel
Your new tags are so cute!
Your tags are great. Can I asked where you scooped them up? I love the pressing ham too!
Great fun!

When you find the answers can you inform me. Great space this week, Im-a-loving the echidnas to.
Ditto to above comments! I almost bought a ham for $15!! In tartan! What did you fill yours with to make it firm enough? And I want to know where the labels are from too! maybe a post about the answers haha
the fabric is a dream!
That's such a cute ham! I have that iron and I love it! Actually it's lasted really well too - I think I've had it a few years now and not a speck of rust or anything! :) K
Love the tags! Love the ham!!
Oh yes, very professional looking tags.
Pressing ham! You go girl!

There's nothing like a great iron, is there? Whizz bang indeed! The labels are beautiful, love to hear where they came from too!

ha! haven't seen a ham since I lived at home. I loved my mum's and had forgotten all about it till I saw your post. I never understood it as a little kid but that never stopped me involving it in my little world in some crazy play or way!
I just recently discovered basting spray and I love it! But I can't help with the quilting as I'm only good at hand quilting which is impossibly slow. :)
Very nice pressing ham. And very nice lables to.
That mustt be the best looking ham around. Very nice labels too.
So lovely - those tags are just perfect.
Those tags look super professional! Great! Happy weeekend to you! :)
